Bubble waffles with ice cream to go are gradually becoming more and more popular
For this classic waffle recipe you only need the following ingredients:
- 250 g flour
- 2 large eggs
- 400 ml whole milk
- 60g melted butter
- 2 tablespoons white or brown sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 2 tsp vanilla extract or 1 sachet vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp salt
Step by step recipe instructions:
Preheat the waffle iron to 190 degrees or medium. In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar, then gradually beat in the butter, milk and vanilla. Sift the flour and baking powder directly into the bowl and gently fold in. Don’t beat to preserve the fluffy texture of the batter.
Grease the baking surfaces of the waffle iron with cooking spray, alternatively brush with a silicone brush dipped in a little vegetable oil or melted butter. Now take some of the batter with a ladle and put it in the middle of the waffle iron. Remember that the dough will expand as it bakes, so don’t overfill.
Close the lid and bake the waffle for about 3-5 minutes or until nicely golden brown and caramelized. Remove with a spatula and serve while still steaming hot with a topping of your choice.
Lightly grease the baking surfaces after each waffle
Simple waffle recipes for a beautiful figure
If you follow a vegan, low-carb, or gluten-free lifestyle, then our first recipe may not be for you. Luckily, you can make delicious waffles with the same texture and taste, but without wheat flour, eggs, cow’s milk, or butter. Nowadays there are numerous alternative products on the market that can hardly be distinguished from the original.
You can use many different types of ingredients depending on your preferences and food intolerances. For example, if you suffer from a nut allergy, of course do not use nut flour, oil or milk in the recipe. Use rice instead, or even better, oat milk and flour.
You can also choose from a variety of vegetable oils to replace the butter – coconut, olive, sunflower seed, flaxseed, etc. They all offer different nutrients and health benefits, so make your own choice.
