In today’s post here on my fashion blog, I’ll show you mine spring outfit and those sneakers that I prefer to wear in the first warm days of the year. I’ll tell you where I like to buy my designer sneakers (second-hand) and which sneaker models will probably never go out of style.

Without sneakers, without me!

I never would have thought that this saying would come so easily over my lips. early 20s I was a self-confessed high heels fan and had quite an impressive collection. It would never have occurred to me in my life to leave the house in flat shoes. Excluded were of course the sporting activities with my two Siberian huskies.

When sneakers really became a trend years ago, I couldn’t really relate to them at first. Isabel Marant has been one of my favorite designers for ages and when I saw that she great sneaker wedges launched, I gave it a shot. Why not? Comfortable sneakers that you can wear all day without sacrificing heels. Exactly my thing!

Of course, it didn’t stop with a pair of Isabel Marant sneaker wedges – I still wear some of them to this day, or I’ve already bought them a second time. I got a taste for sneakers and so different models gradually moved in. Sneakers with platforms, made of canvas, with leather details, chunky chunky sneakers and about two years ago also my spring favorites: Chanel sneakers.

If I want to buy higher-priced designer things, the first thing I do is browse on second-hand platforms. I was also able to get my spring sneakers from Chanel that way – they were like new and me paid only a fraction the new price. At the same time, it is more sustainable to buy something second-hand if you already want to buy something.

My spring outfit with sneakers and leather trousers

Today I’m wearing the casual Chanel sneakers with simple black leather trousers, a long white blouse and a short beige knit sweater. I love layered looks like this, especially for the transitional period – they just never go out of style. The black biker jacket is ideal for cool hours in the morning and in the evening and, of course, when the sun is shining, large sunglasses are a must.
